Originally manufactured between 1950-1970, this EXTREMELY large and RARE 27” diameter Japanese decorative platter is a feast for the eyes! Decorated with a pictorial raised enamel panel scene with 5 female Geisha figures posed in a beautiful garden setting with a white cherry blossom tree surrounded by complex patterns.
This platter is in perfect condition. The wood display stand does have a few minor scratches, however barely noticeable. Platter dimensions: 27” wide x 3-1/2” tall.
Satsuma ware is a style of Japanese earthenware originally from the Satsuma region of what is today southern Kyūshū. This replica is a wonderful example of Japan’s well-known 17th century manufacturers known for their fine colorful paintings and gilded gold paint.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
As with any vintage item, care instructions include not immersing in water to clean but simply wipe with a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth. To help remove fingerprints simply buff furniture with a soft cloth.
