Porch Nook Introduces New Custom Furniture Paint

Verona, WI – Kristin LeDuc, owner of Porch Nook, a furniture painting business, is excited to announce that she is now offering the same custom furniture paint used exclusively in her studio to customers. This vibrant, durable, and easy-to-use paint will allow homeowners to transform their own furnishings without the need for priming or sanding on most surfaces.

The flat, chalking finish of the paint is formulated for superior adhesion and coverage, thoroughly covering up old varnishes, scratches, stains, and blemishes, and restoring most surfaces to a rich matte antique look. The paint is recommended for use on furniture, cabinets, walls, glass, metal, and more. The paint is easy to apply and distress, has a low odor, and can be used indoors during any season. The non-toxic formula makes it easy to clean up with warm water and soap, and it is proudly made in the U.S.A.

“At Porch Nook, I understand the importance of re-purposing what was once loved,” says Kristin LeDuc. “Once you’re done painting your one-of-a-kind creation, you are encouraged to find a new and creative purpose for your 16 or 32 liquid ounce mason jar.”

Porch Nook is also giving back to the community through their paint sales. For every 16 and 32 liquid ounce jar sold, Porch Nook donates $1 to the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer. Founded by patients and survivors, GO2 is devoted exclusively to eradicating lung cancer through research, early detection, education, and treatment.

“We believe in repurposing with purpose,” says LeDuc. “By contributing a percentage of paint sales towards lung cancer, we are making a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.”
